Assist Me in Looking for A Car

I now need to put on the market my 2003 Infinity (pegged at roughly €7K) as it is, now, too undersized (3 grown ups, 2 children and another on the way).

I must say that the vehicle has treated me rather efficiently and I have, in no way, felt the shortahge of power; and the only basis that I wish to put it on the market is because I'm at the momentaiming for a car that is bigger.

I'm wide open to options that take the following points into account:
a) more roomy
b) similar low emission
c) well-mannered on quick trips (as that's what we mostly do)
d) good on fuel effectiveness

I'm sure there's a (new) car under there somewhere...! by Mags_cat

I am eagerly looking forward to purchasing a different vehicle, however it should not be very costly, nevertheless be a car which I can rely on, besides being one that is trouble-free to take care of.

When all's said and done, if the vehicle which I mention has treated you well however you simply have to change it for a vehicle that gives your family more room, then which one would you pick? I am keen on the appearance of the Subaru Outbacks. But I believe it could be tricky to find one within that budget. 4×4's could be handy for our home because we reside in the Blue Mountains and a few off road tracks are present, but it's not necessary for the car to be a 4×4.

While I await I believe I will merely bear on propelling a rental motorcar

Thanks for all ideas.

Dad's New Car

My old man just returned his Ford Explorer and is looking to lease another car. He previously expressed that this drive was a little taxing on his posterior and that it had way too much power for this part of the world… So he's on the lookout for a 4 cylinder or a small 6, and it needs to be SUV in view of the fact that he does surfing, etc… + it's the only large vehicle in the family, I borrowed his SUV quite a few times to move stuff all over the place because I own a Toyota Prius and my spouse a Beetle.

Anyway, the cost; it's unquestionably less than US $30k taking into account taxes and fees.

He did like the GMC Acadia, but it's way too underpowered, the Turbo version has exceptional muscle and drives great, but for that much he opines he could do better.

He received a splendid deal at Volkswagen for a Jetta SportWagen 2.5L 5 cylinders… but he has a dependability concern ever since our Audi A6 and VW Cabrio were constantly having problems. I told him that through a 24-month lease he shouldn't face any tribulations (as opposed to owning the Jeep Wrangler like he did for over 4 years).

We also though about the contemporary Chevrolet Equinox, a pretty darn good car, one could smell quality all over when you sit down inside… He even said that he might have purchased the SUV before now if it wasn't for the salesman was such a nincompoop… I think after taxes it gets to $32k or so, but he does seem to be fond of the SUV a lot.

He drove the Toyota FJ Cruiser (4 cylinders) and said that it handled quite badly… I could not inspect that one, although he seems to be confident that his new car will not be a Toyota.

Any propositions? k to k or about there? The Nissan Rogue seems like a piece of crap and therefore I suggested not to make an effort in inspecting that, besdies the Lexus GX470 is too high-priced.
